East Gam Bay — Karst & Hidden Lagoon
Karst walls, turquoise lagoons beneath the cliffs, and a rock tunnel through to a hidden lagoon — the scenic east of the bay.
The fuller of the two half-day paddles. You start in the mangroves close to the base, then follow the east shore of the bay past karst walls and rock islands.
This side of the bay is all limestone — overhanging cliffs, turquoise water tucked beneath the karst, and a low tunnel that opens to a quiet lagoon behind the wall when the tide and conditions allow. A paddle to take slowly.
You paddle out through the mangrove channels, so the Mangrove Channels route folds naturally into this one.
